Breathe is a free breathing-exercise app for Android, made and published by an independent developer. This policy explains exactly what the app does with information, and what it deliberately does not do.
It covers the app itself. It does not cover Google Play, which has its own privacy policy governing how the store handles your download and any interaction you have with it.
Almost everything the app knows about you never leaves your device. It is written to the app's own private storage, readable by nothing else, and it includes:
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. You can also clear it at any time from Settings → Your practice → Clear history without uninstalling.
Android's own Auto Backup is enabled for this app, which is the default for Android apps. If you have device backup turned on in your Google account, Android may copy the app's settings and practice history to your own Google Drive, so that a new phone can restore them. That backup belongs to you, sits in your Drive, and the developer has no access to it whatsoever. You can turn it off in your device's system settings under Backup.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how it is used, so that time goes into the parts people actually reach for. This is the only place any data leaves your device, and it is anonymous.

Every value the app sends is a count, a duration, a yes/no, a preset name or a colour code. There are no free-text fields, so there is nothing you could type that could be transmitted.
To be explicit, because "we value your privacy" is worth nothing without a list:

None of these is a runtime permission — Android grants them at install and never prompts you, because none of them reaches your personal data.
Google, as the provider of Firebase Analytics, processes the anonymous statistics on the developer's behalf. Their handling is governed by the Firebase privacy documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
Nobody else. Data is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics resellers or any other third party. There is no other service in the app — no ad network, no crash reporter, no attribution SDK, no social login.
Anonymous analytics events are retained by Firebase for a limited period and then deleted automatically. Aggregate figures — totals and trends that describe no individual — may be kept for longer.
Data on your phone is kept until you delete it, either with Clear history inside the app or by uninstalling.
Settings → Your practice → Clear history erases your totals, streak and badges. Uninstalling removes everything the app has stored.
Uninstalling the app stops any further data being sent. You can also limit what your device shares generally through Android's own privacy settings.
Because nothing collected is tied to your identity, there is normally no record that can be picked out as yours. If you believe otherwise, or you want to ask what is held, write to the address in section 10 and it will be dealt with. Depending on where you live you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data; those requests go to the same address.
The app contains no advertising, no purchases, no chat, no user accounts and no user-generated content, and it collects no personal information from anyone of any age. No personal information is knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, write to the address below and it will be removed.
Questions about this policy, requests to delete data, or anything else about what the app does with information:
Write in English or Hebrew. Requests under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA go to the same address and are answered within 30 days.
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the effective date at the top changes with it. A change that materially affects what is collected will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play, so the change is visible somewhere you already look.
